StarKids: Chore Chart

Mustafa Turkan ("we", "us", or "our") operates the StarKids: Chore Chart mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

When you use StarKids, we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: Email address and display name when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email/password.
• Child Profiles: Names and avatars you create for your children's profiles. This data is stored securely and is only accessible to you.
• Usage Data: Routines, chores, rewards, and progress data you enter into the app.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the app experience.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's core features (routines, rewards, reports).
• To power the AI Parenting Coach with personalized suggestions.
• To send you weekly progress insights (if enabled).
• To process your subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system.
• To improve app performance and fix bugs via crash reports.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase with encryption in transit and at rest. We use Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in and Firestore for data storage with strict security rules ensuring only you can access your data.

Third-Party Services

StarKids uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, data storage, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Google Gemini AI: Powers the AI Parenting Coach feature. Only anonymized routine data is shared for generating suggestions.
• RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions. No personal data is shared beyond purchase verification.

Children's Privacy

StarKids is designed for parents to manage their children's routines. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All child profile data is entered and managed by the parent account holder. Child names entered in the app are stored only in your private Firestore document and are not shared with third parties.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time through the app.
• Update or correct your information via the Settings screen.
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently from Settings > Delete Account.
• Export your data by contacting us via email.

Subscription and Payments

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID settings.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
